Re:WalkRun turns a workout's route from Apple Health into a map film on your iPhone. Here are the questions that come up most.
Which workouts can I use?
Any workout in Apple Health that has a route: runs, walks, hikes, rides and more, recorded by an Apple Watch, the iPhone or another app that saves its routes to Health. Workouts without a route (for example most pool swims) can't be drawn on a map. If a workout is missing, check Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Re:WalkRun and allow workouts and workout routes.
Why doesn't my film show heart rate?
Re:WalkRun shows only what Health recorded. If a workout has no heart-rate samples, the boards leave heart rate out instead of making it up.
Can people see where I live?
By default the first and last 200 m of every film are trimmed. Change it for each film in the editor's Style settings: 0, 100, 200 or 400 m.
What is free, and what does Pro add?
Every film is free in SD or Full HD at 30 fps, with the free openings and live boards. Pro adds 4K, 60 fps and every opening and live board. A free Pro film comes every 14 days in your first month, then every 30 days, and Re:WalkRun can tell you when one is ready. A Film Pass ($0.99) makes one film Pro, 3 Pro films cost $2.49, Pro monthly $5.99 and Pro yearly $49.99 with 7 days free (up to 30 Pro films a month). Prices may differ by country.
How do I restore purchases or cancel?
Sign in with the same Apple Account and open Settings › Pro › Restore purchases. To cancel a subscription, open the iPhone's Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
What happens if I leave the app while a film is being made?
The film pauses and carries on when you come back. Keeping Re:WalkRun open is the quickest way to finish.
How do I clear map data?
Settings › Map data › Clear saved tiles. Tiles are downloaded again when a film needs them.
What do I need?
An iPhone with iOS 26 and workouts with routes in Apple Health. Title ideas from Apple's on-device model also need Apple Intelligence turned on.
